Diagnostic Visit

Comprehensive Diagnostic Session

Every new patient begins with a deep-dive diagnostic session. This is where we look at the whole picture and build a plan to address your interconnected symptoms. You will receive:

  • Systems-Based Diagnosis, reviewing your symptoms, history, labs, and imaging (we review images ourselves, not just the radiology report) across three key systems: MCAS, Dysautonomia, and Hypermobility.

  • Detailed audit of your medications, diet, physical therapy / rehab protocol, and current approach to symptom management

  • Written Care Summary, a specialty write-up of your diagnoses and plan that you can that you can use when going to other doctors and specialists to guide them on how to approach your unique care;

  • Personalized Treatment Framework, a phased roadmap for your case that looks to treat all three systems (MCAS, Dysautonomia, Hypermobility) simultaneously under one plan.

2-Hour Visit, plus extensive prep and write-ups after visit |  $1,500

This fee covers your first 2 months of membership if you choose to join our Concierge Medical Care program

Concierge Medical Care Membership

For patients who want an ongoing clinical home for their MCAS, Dysautonomia, and Hypermobility care, we provide a concierge medicine service. As a member, you receive:

  • Up to 6 one-hour visits annually, (typically every other month) used flexibly based on your needs and health patterns.

  • Unlimited On-demand Concierge Messaging for non-emergencies, so we can help monitor your case, adjust treatment, and provide consultation to evolving symptoms between visits

  • Ongoing case management for detailed imaging and lab orders, comprehensive blood panels when indicated, and prescriptions

  • Integrated strength and rehabilitation planning, designed specifically for hypermobile and dysautonomia-prone bodies—corrective exercises, form review, and guidance we can share with your local physical therapist. As a medical practice that advises on rehabilitation, our recommendations are informed by the imaging we review or order for you.

Monthly Membership |  $375/month

The Comprehensive Diagnostic Session covers your first two months of membership, billing begins in Month 3

Please note: Before allowing someone to become a patient or client, our clinic requires every new prospective patient to do an initial 20-minute intake call at no charge. This helps our team understand if we can help you before you make an investment in having Dr. Gandham and our team as a part of your care team, and helps us understand if you are a good fit for how we work.

The Value of the Written Care Summary

Every patient who completes a Comprehensive Diagnostic Session receives an in-depth Written Care Summary. This is more than an after-visit note: it functions as a portable specialist consult for the rest of your care team. It includes:

  • A clear clinical narrative of your history, working diagnoses, objective findings, and our interpretation of how your systems interact.

  • A practical, phased roadmap with medication strategy, MCAS and autonomic priorities, rehab focus areas, and concrete next steps

  • Language that helps outside providers take your concerns seriously, especially when they’re unfamiliar with these conditions

  • Advocacy support: so you don’t have to retell your entire story from scratch at every visit or in the ER. We can help your local doctors understand the context.

Patients often share this summary with local specialists, ER and urgent care providers, and physical therapists. It helps align everyone around the same plan of your interconnected symptoms.

 FAQs

  • No - We do not bill insurance for visits. This allows for longer appointment times, deeper analysis, and collaborative care planning that isn’t possible under traditional short medical care visit models. However, you can still use insurance for:

    - Medications I prescribe
    - Imaging and labs I order
    - I can assist in obtaining prior authorization support, when applicable

  • Yes - If you start with a diagnostic session and later choose to become a medical patient through a membership, you can apply the cost from your diagnostic session to your first quarterly membership payment.

  • No - we also work with cases of dysautonomia, POTS, MCAS, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, CCI, and other medically complex cases.

  • Because all of our physicians are licensed in NY, to be seen in a medical capacity, you must reside in New York or be physically located in New York at all times of care. We do work with patients that reside outside of NY, but they must travel to NY to be seen for visits (both physically or virtually).

  • We operate as our patients’ clinical home for all of their hypermobility-related needs. All of our patients still maintain their primary care physician to service their general needs (ordering routine screenings, vaccines, annual physicals, etc).

  • We integrate strength and rehabilitation directly into your medical care—especially for patients with hypermobility, cervical instability, thoracic outlet syndrome, and pelvic/SI joint issues.

Depending on your needs, we may:

    • Recommend corrective exercise progressions tailored to your specific instabilities and pain patterns.

    • Review video of your movements and provide detailed feedback on mechanics, breathing, and joint positioning.

    • Teach you how to build strength while respecting autonomic limits (POTS, dysautonomia) and MCAS flares.

    • Communicate directly with your local physical therapist to align on goals, precautions (e.g., cervical or vascular considerations), and progression.

All strength and rehab work is designed with the hypermobile, dysautonomia-prone body in mind: prioritizing safety, long-term joint protection, and practical function.
